A special collectors edition DVD of Beyond the Pale will be available from March 7th, 2004. This special issue will include a twenty-minute featurette entitled Beyond the Pale - A Look Back, containing interviews with Malachy McCourt, Conn Horgan, Beverley Elder, Valentina Olmos, Roger Davis and Patrick Clarke. The featurette also examines the lives of the real Tom Finegan and Catherine Molloy for which the story of Beyond the Pale is loosely based.
